About

Aurélie Baras is a visual artist, graphic designer and illustrator.

After studying at the ESAG (Met de Penninghen – Paris VIe) and during his career in graphic design since 1994, Aurélie Baras mainly illustrates cultural posters and postage stamps. She created the first French postage stamp in the form of a heart and contributed to the technical production of a series of heart stamps for fashion houses as well as to the layout of stamps of works by well-known artists. His posters are also selected for international collective exhibitions in France, Japan, the United States and Eastern Europe. The selected themes illustrate, among others, Philippe Avron’s plays as well as public cultural events.
Aurélie Baras tackles different types of projects in graphic design as well as in fashion and creates her own collection of colorful bags, exhibited on the occasion of the Grand prix de la création competition of the City of Paris in 2004.
2014 marked a turning point in his career. Its artistic expression is now materialized mainly in the form of paintings and wall decorations, in a modern and decorative style. His first solo exhibition took place at Atelier 213, a shop-workshop near Bastille, in 2018 (photos and video on Instagram). For more information.
